Unsigned outfielder Angel Pagan got a chance to play against the San Francisco Giants earlier this week. Pagan went 2-4 for Team Puerto Rico as they fell to the Giants 6-5 on a 2-run walk-off homer by Chris Marrero.

Pagan is still team-less, and that’s because he’s holding out for a major league deal. He’s had some offers on the table, but they’re all for minor league contracts. Pagan will hold out till he gets the deal he’s looking for.

I can see why teams are skeptical, Pagan has had his share of injuries, and couldn’t finish last season on the field due to his back. Only time will tell what kind of contract Pagan signs…. However, I do know that he was a really good Giant. Pagan hit .281, with 31 homers, 81 SB, 205 RBI’s and 321 runs scored. It sure was a lot of fun to watch Pagan play the game when he was healthy. Thank you for all the great memories and we wish you the best of luck with whoever you sign with! #ForeverGiant
