Sounds like a mature young man who will fit in nicely. If he can hit, he can play left and come out late in games for defense. Giants are one power bat (and Timmy) from a repeat.

If Roger can beat his back problem I look for him to be on the team this spring…I do not think that either Torres or Blanco will do it…the problem is Roger being a lefty hitter and we need power from the right side.

Lets bring him up to start the season and see what he can do. Start Peguero at AAA to see if his problems are solved {he looked terrible in the Fall of 2013}

The Giants biggest concern has to be a power bat in left field….only one person shows me any hope and it is Roger Kieschnick
but can he hit the southpaws ???
