The San Francisco Giants haven’t been able to pull away in the NL West after a hot start to the season. They are now trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers, after getting swept in a three-game series against their division rivals. Now the SF Giants schedule gives them another hard series with the Pittsburgh Pirates coming to town. The Pirates had a rough start, but are now only three games out in the NL Central.
