SF Giants Rumors: Bochy Talks To Pagan And Scutaro Next, Players Added To 40-Man Roster

Alex Pavlovic of the San Jose Mercury News says (via Twitter) it’s a slow time for free agency, but San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy had a long conversation with Angel Pagan this week to touch base. Bochy also plans to do the same with Marco Scutaro today.

The Giants have added Nick Noonan, Edwin Escobar, Jake Dunning, Chris Heston, and Juan Perez to the 40-man roster. The roster is currently at 35. These players will be protected for the Rule 5 draft (takes place at annual Winter Meetings), reports Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle.
