SF Giants Rumors: Chris Haft Shares Insights On 2012 Trading Deadline
Chris Haft of MLB.com tells SF Giants Rumors that this is a tougher market to move players in, due to the additional Wild Card. However, he points out that GM Brian Sabean always does something before the trading deadline.
Haft says Huston Street could be a good fit. He’s someone that can close and doesn’t have a big ego. Which means he can also set up once in a while when Santiago Casilla is closing.
As far as position players, Haft doesn’t think Placido Polanco would be much of an upgrade at third base, and says Shane Victorino could help the Giants. With the trading deadline just 1 week away. Only time will tell what’s in store for the Giants.

What do you think about Hanlee Ramirez at third and move Pablo to first?? He is having an off year, and is not necessarily the best clubhouse guy, but many a misfit has found a home in the SF clubhouse in a pennant chase….
I think Huston Street would be a good fit for SF. Our offense is starting to click somewhat, so we just need to tighten up the bullpen. Pitching and defense is the key to success.
