SF Giants Rumors – D-Train In Hart Next?

Posted on July 15th, 2010 by admin in SF Giants Rumors

  Dontrelle Willis Detroit Tigers

The San Francisco Giants signed the D-Train Dontrelle Willis to a minor league contract. Willis will be reporting to the Fresno Grizzlies on Monday. This is a low risk high reward signing for the Giants. Just like the Pat Burrell signing.

This tells me that Giants GM Brian Sabean is getting serious about trading LHP Jonathan Sanchez for a bat. The Milwaukee Brewers want Sanchez or Madison Bumgarner for Corey Hart. I’m not saying this will be the trade, but this is the rumor that isn’t dying.

Stay tuned Giants fans!

  1. I have read numerous articles stating that if Willis does return to form he will be in a relief position to replace the injured Dan Runzler.I think Bumgarner is not going to be on the table for any trade with anyone due to the fact he is a rookie with a huge upside of talent and he will turn out to be a stronger pitcher than Sanchez. If the giants do make the Corey Hart trade it will be for prospects or Sanchez . Just Do IT !
