SF Giants Rumors – DeRosa A Good Fit For The Giants?

Derrick Goold of St. Louis Post-Dispatch says the Cardinals remain interested in re-signing Mark DeRosa, though most likely as part of an alternative plan if they don’t land Holliday. DeRosa has also drawn attention from the Philadelphia Phillies, the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants.
King of Cali thoughts: I’m still up in the air with DeRosa. Is he a good player…yes! He’s just not a big bat and I think he shines better with bigger bats around him. He’s a nice compliment player, but still not that difference maker that we are looking for in the lineup. I would be happy with a DeRosa signing if there is more moves after that to help boost the offense.

I wouldn’t mind signing DeRosa but we would have to sign someone else like Xavier Nady or trade for Dan Uggla or another bat to boost the lineup
