SF Giants Rumors: Mike Kickham To Make His Major League Debut Tonight

Kickham,MichaelThe bats were quiet yesterday as the San Francisco Giants fell to the Athletics across the bay in Oakland. The Giants are looking for a split in the two game series. They’re sending Mike Kickham to the mound tonight as Ryan Vogelsong‘s replacement. Kickham will also be making his Major League Debut tonight. The lineups haven’t been announced as of yet, but Buster Posey is expected to catch the rookie’s debut.

Reliever Santiago Casilla is having knee surgery today, and is expected to return a little after the All Star break. This is a big blow to the Giants bullpen. Casilla has been solid this year, and has a 1.89 ERA in 21 games this season.
