SF Giants Rumors: Scutaro, Betancourt, Belisle, And League Are Linked To Giants

Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle said (via twitter) don’t be surprised if the San Francisco Giants make a deal with the Rockies. Colorado has been scouting the Giants farm system in Fresno and Richmond recently.

In another tweet, Schulman points out that the Giants have asked about infielder Marco Scutaro for bench help. Rafael Betancourt and Matt Belisle could also be a fit in the bullpen.

Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports says (via twitter) sources tell him the Giants have shown interest in Mariners pitcher Brandon League.

I don’t know why the Giants would want to acquire Scutaro, he’s got Ryan Theriot like numbers so he wouldn’t make much of an impact. Michael Cuddyer would be a better addition from Colorado
