SF Giants Rumors: Sergio Romo Avoids Arbitration With The Giants

The San Francisco Giants have announced that they have reached a two-year agreement with closer Sergio Romo to avoid arbitration. The two year contract buys out Romo’s arbitration years. He will be eligible to be a free agent following the 2014 season.
Romo will get $9 million in his two-year deal; $3.5 million this year and $5.5 in 2014.
