SF Giants Rumors: Josh Hamilton To The Giants, Maybe?

Buster Olney of ESPN.com says (via Twitter) one NL official thinks outfielder Josh Hamilton could end up in San Francisco next season.
Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle says (via Twitter) if the Giants were to sign Hamilton, it would have to be to a high annual salary and short-term contract.

Hamilton is phenomenal player that can help any team light up the scoreboard. I just don’t see him and the San Francisco Giants being a good fit. Hamilton is going to want a big long-term contract, and I dont’ think the Giants can ( or want too) give him one.

I don’t like to really mention his personal life, but that plays a huge role in wanting to commit to a big time player like Hamilton. I think his best move is to stay in Texas.

With that said, don’t get me wrong. I would love to see him in the middle of the Giants lineup, right before Buster Posey. I just don’t see this move happening during the offseason.
