SF Giants Rumors: The Giants Win The Pennant!

It’s been a wild and crazy post season for the San Francisco Giants, and it’s not over yet! These guys have showed no quit, and a play with a ton of heart. They had their backs to the wall and won three elimination games in Cincinnati, and then having to win three in a row elimination games to beat the Cardinals to advance to the 2012 World Series.
The hopes of advancing to the World Series was on the shoulders of Matt Cain, and he delivered with his arm and his bat. Cain tossed 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball, and hit an RBI single in the 2nd inning.

Marco Scutaro continued to dominate Cardinals pitching, as he racked up 3 more hits and a walk in game 7. Scutaro hit .500 in the NLCS (14-for-28), and was hands down the 2012 NLCS MVP!

Pablo Sandoval has hit .381 with 2 homers and 6 RBI in the last 5 games. His current overall numbers for the 2012 Postseason are .320 with 3 homers, 9 RBI and 6 runs scored for the Kung Fu Panda.

It’s the 2nd World Series for the Giants in the last 3 years. I don’t know about you fans, but I can sure get use to this World Series run every couple of years!
