- Comments Off on Somber Night at AT&T Park – Crawford’s Sister-In-Law Passing
Last night the San Francisco Giants fell to 0-3 this season when their ace Madison Bumgarner takes the mound. Their offense continued to struggle to and their 9th inning comeback fell short. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s shed a little light on why it was really a somber night at AT&T Park.
Shortstop Brandon Crawford was running on fumes after just a couple hours of sleep. After Wednesday nights game, Crawford drove to Los Angeles to be with his wife (then flew back yesterday prior to game time) and family after the sudden passing of his sister-in-law Jennifer Pippin. Below is Jalynee Crawford’s (Brandon’s wife) post on Instagram following the devastating news.
Miss you so much already sister! Heaven sure got a lot brighter with you there! I’m sure Grandpa was waiting for you with his arms open!!! I’m sure you’re dancing to rock and roll and being the free-spirited being you are! Asthma is nothing to take lightly! We will miss you Jen @themrspippin Kaylee and Kyrie are in the best hands!!! 🙏🏻Our hearts are crushed!! You were a beautiful spirit, a loving wife, the most wonderful mother, amazing sister and even better friend! Baseball games won’t be the same with out you!
